In October 2025, Colombia's Consumer Confidence Index experienced a significant surge, climbing to 13.6%. This marks an increase of 12 percentage points from the previous month, reaching its highest point since September 2024. The Consumer Expectations Index recorded a growth of 15.5 points, fueled by a robust sense of optimism regarding future household conditions (41.7% against 26.2%) and improved expectations for the national economy (9.5% compared to -6.3%) as well as the overall outlook (3.1% as opposed to -12.2%). The Economic Conditions Index also saw an uptick, rising to 6.9% from last month's 0.1%, driven by more favorable assessments of current household finances (3.1% versus 0.5%) and a marked recovery in the willingness to purchase durable goods (10.8% compared to -0.4%). On a year-over-year basis, overall confidence increased by 17.3 percentage points.
