In Lithuania, producer prices rose by 12.8% year-on-year in May 2026, easing from a downwardly revised 13.1%—the highest rate in more than three years—recorded in April. This was the third consecutive month of annual producer price increases, though the pace of growth continued to soften.

Price gains in manufacturing slowed to 13.2% from 13.7% in the previous month, with a notable deceleration in the coke and refined petroleum products segment, where inflation eased to 73.2% from 77.0%. Inflation also cooled in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities, slowing to 3.3% from 5.1%.

By contrast, price growth accelerated in mining and quarrying, rising to 5.5% from 0.9%, and in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply, where prices increased by 8.0%, up from 4.1% in April.

On a monthly basis, producer prices declined by 0.8% in May, reversing a 2.5% increase in the previous month.
